Publish a Cloud Page
Publish the current document tree and manage synchronization and sharing.
Goal
Create a stable public URL for a Markdown document and its child documents.
Prerequisites
- You are signed in to a Duobox account.
- The current Space contains a Markdown document.
- Documents and images are saved.
Create a public page
- Open the document that should be the root of the shared content.
- From the document menu, choose Share โ Share to Cloud.
- Select New public page.
- Choose Create public link and keep the window open.
- Copy the URL or open the page when publishing finishes.
The public page includes the current document and its children. Local images referenced by those pages are uploaded with the content.
Synchronize changes
Local edits are published explicitly. Open the sharing dialog again, select the existing public page, and choose Sync changes. Synchronization replaces that page with the current document tree, so verify the selected target first.
Manage public pages
Open Settings โ Sharing to list pages, open one, copy its link, or stop sharing it. Stopping sharing disables the public URL and keeps the local documents intact.
Completion check
- The public URL opens in a browser.
- The title, child documents, and images are complete.
- After a local edit and synchronization, the page shows the new version.
Common issues
- Sign-in required: sign in from Settings โ Account and retry.
- Content is outdated: select the matching public page and synchronize it again.
- An image is missing: confirm that it remains inside the Space and renders in the App.
